This is one of the reasons why the game software and gambling firms consider India as having a huge potential.
2UP aims to capture Indian market
A perfect example of companies making a beeline for India is 2UP. The gaming giant is looking for reliable partners to enter into the gaming business in India. The management team of 2UP will visit India in September to discuss partnership with eligible firms and to attract potential investors to join the firm to initiate a deal that aims to offer online gambling products in India.
Peter Bentley is sure that if 2UP is able to establish a partnership with Indian gambling firms, the company would be able to gain a strong foothold in the country. Bentley, who is the managing director of 2UP, said that India, being a huge region with such a large population, offers plenty of opportunities. He also said that if the company is successful in entering into a partnership with Indian gambling firms, 2UP can be assured of a huge amount of traffic. Cheap overheads and huge expansion possibility make India a lucrative market.
2UP however is likely to face stiff competition as there are many other online gambling firms like William Hill wanting to gain a foothold in the Indian online gambling scene. Some major sports betting companies are also keenly waiting to see how successful 2UP will be in establishing itself in the country.
